Paint Rocks Submissions

On March 25th OCAD will be hosting a fundraiser that will include some live music and paintings for sale to raise money for the Graduate show catalog. These are two 10x12's that I'm planning on submitting.

Sketchbook stuff, was experimenting with layering glazes of inks/colour combos, a lil bit of optical mixing.

Little Bit of Process

Two paintings I've started since the end of the Holidays, have access to the studio again! Much needed. The landscape is inspired by my recent trip to Jasper, all coming together with the rest of my thesis work, finding some new acrylic techniques that are really working before jumping in with oils. The portrait is of friend and coworker from out west Qaamina Sam, this is going to change quite a bit before it is finished. Like I said, process.
